About Me

Robert Omoto is a stand-up comedian from Sacramento, California, known for turning the bizarre and everyday into comedy gold. With razor-sharp crowd work and spontaneous riffs, his performances are a wild mix of personal stories, absurd observations, and family-driven chaos that audiences instantly connect with. A semi-finalist in StandUp NBC, Robert has performed at top festivals including Laughs After Dark, NoHo, and SF Sketchfest, and competed in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition. He’s opened for heavy hitters like Godfrey, Phil Hanley, Nate Jackson, Craig Cognant, JR De Guzman, Steve Ho, Pablo Francisco, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bret Ernst, Brad Upton, TK Kirkland, Karlous Miller, and Mike Epps, and even entertained U.S. Navy —proving he can bring the funny anywhere.

Off stage, Robert hosts the podcast Random Thoughts, where he dives into life's strangest questions and observations with the same offbeat lens that defines his stand-up. His comedy is rooted in authenticity, finding humor in the chaos of daily life, and never taking himself too seriously—except when it comes to making people laugh. A proud husband and dad, Robert draws inspiration from his family, upbringing, and the ridiculous world around him, always hunting for the next great bit hiding in plain sight.
