About Me
I’m a somewhat small, very loud, Filipino and Japanese man. I’ve bartended in nightclubs, been shot at, skydived, bungee jumped, fed crocodiles, swam with sharks, but the craziest thing I’ve done by far...is have a two kids and get married to a Mexican and Puerto Rican woman. Two boys, to whom I voice my seemingly random tangents of paranoia and over-analyzation to.
I’ve spent my career turning the weird and random moments of life into comedy, weaving sharp crowd work and off-the-cuff riffs into an unforgettable live experience. My humor comes from me always trying to manage my expectations, versus what happens in reality. I try to find the absurdity in everyday situations and make it relatable, whether I’m talking about family, parenting, relationships, horrible jobs, or ridiculous daydreams I have about “what if” scenarios to pass the time.
I was a semi-finalist in StandUp NBC, performed at major festivals like Laughs After Dark, NoHo, San Luis Obispo, Sketchfest, and San Diego Comedy festival. Along the way, I’ve opened for some of the best in the game, including Godfrey, Phil Hanley, Nate Jackson, Jaoying Summers, Craig Cognant, JR De Guzman, Steve Ho, Pablo Francisco, Brad Upton, TK Kirkland, and Mike Epps. I’ve even had the honor of entertaining the U.S. Navy.
When I’m not on stage, I’m usually hosting Random Thoughts, my podcast where I dive into everything from comedy to random observations that don’t quite make sense but somehow work. I’ve always had a passion for making people laugh, whether it's in person or through my podcast, where I explore life’s weirdest questions and share a few personal stories along the way.
Outside of comedy, I used to be crazy, but now I’m a family guy. I love spending time with my wife and kids and trying new projects out because there was a 3:00 video on YouTube on how to fix my oven and it looked simple. I created a gas leak and we had to buy a new oven by the way.
Comedy has allowed me to realize that my lack of patience and every irritating/weird interaction is material in the making. And whether I’m on stage or behind the mic, my goal is always the same: to make you laugh, think, and realize that we’re all a little bit ridiculous in the best possible way.
